Kilts! Text-savvy contestants! Dirty talk approval! The Voice kicked off its first live show Tuesday on the Warner Bros. lot and TVGuide.com was on the set to catch all of the behind-the-scenes action when the cameras weren't rolling. Find out which judges get the most primping and how producers and the other judges really felt about Christina's candid comments below.
Getting ready for the live show. About an hour before the show, Beverly isn't quite ready to let her unusual ensemble do all the talking. "It's a kilt. No skirts here," she says on a smoke break outside the stage area. Elsewhere, Xenia, in a hairnet and curlers, asks sweetly — via a production rep — if she can cut the very long bathroom line before the live show. She hums the whole time.

Well, most of its live: "Holy sh--, we're goin' live tonight," host Carson Daly tells the crowd before introducing the judges. And hello, Christina's hot pants! Could they be any tighter or tinier? Time to pre-tape the Queen medley. That's right — this part is...
Holly Montag and Janice Dickinson
Thursday's I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! featured a double elimination, in which America chose to get rid of celeb sib Holly Montag and perennial loudmouth Janice Dickinson.
Montag wasn't ready to leave the jungle after loving "every minute of it" — especially the moments she shared with former American Idol finalist Sanjaya Malakar. "Sanjaya's...

Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, Rod Blagojevich
Idol headache Sanjaya Malakar, the ubiquitous Janice Dickinson and professional lovers Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are among the celebrities who will vie to be king or queen of the jungle on NBC's I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! this summer. Impeached Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich, whose legal troubles will prevent him from competing on the show, is nonetheless "discussing potential different options" with NBC to remain involved, he told reporters. (Why, exactly?)

First Bat Mitzvahs, now retirement? Sanjaya Malakar's hitting all the life stages!Yes, he's back, returning to TV in a new ad for a retirement and financial services firm. The spot, to be made specifically for the South Asian market, will be part of Nationwide's "Life Comes at You Fast" campaign, and will give a nod to Malakar's (in)famous hairdos. In the commercial, Sanjaya visits an Indian monastery, where he's told not only that he needs to start planning for retirement, but also that he should work on that 'do of his. With his Nationwide ad, Malakar's following in the footsteps of Kevin Federline, MC Hammer and Fabio, among others which, needless to say, may give him pause. It's too bad that we won't be getting his ads in our TV market but fingers crossed for the ads' inevitable arrival on the 'net! In the meantime, what should Sanjaya do with his (extremely extended) fifteen minutes of fame? Suggestions welcome, below. Anna DimondUse our Online Video Guide t...

Remember Ashley, the teenaged girl who cried a river for Sanjaya Malakar on American Idol last season? Well, she and her watery eyes have a new favorite Jason Castro, the dreadlock-coiffed Texan who wowed audiences and Simon with his performance of "Hallelujah" a few weeks back. Access Hollywood reports that Ashley has been attending tapings again this season and the waterworks have been in full working order when Jason takes the stage. J.R. No big surprises tonight in terms of the bottom three Syesha and David H both gave pretty lackluster performances and Kristy was downright awfulAt least the Horton Hears a Who promo to kick off the night was a lot cuter than the Jumper one last month and Jim Carrey was a much better sport about it all including making fun of the blatant cross-promotion than Hayden Christensen The other celebrity in the audience tonight was Sanjaya Malakar who was there with his sister though they never identified him and the camera only lingered on him for a moment Oh and Danny Noriega I suppose returning the favor of Ramieles song dedication to him last night was sitting with her family and wearing a T-shirt with her face on it Its all so teenage-BFFs isnt itThe medley of All My Loving I Feel Fine Cant Buy Me Love and Help had some tough spots Amanda for one continues to stick out like a sore thumb during the group songs Oh and her hair was especially odd t

So this is where Sanjaya has been hanging out lately.... He's been performing at black-tie rites of passages (for a pretty penny, we're sure) for screaming teenage girls? Take away the rite of passage, and I guess it feels just like he's still on American Idol. Well, Sanjaya isn't on Idol anymore, but he's still capitalizing on the fame he received from his top-10 stint on the show. Not only did he perform at a fancy, black-tie, 300-guest bat mitzvah in Huntington, New York, but he also scored a gig TV Guide Network hosting Idol: Where Are They Now?So what did the former Idol croon for his lucky audience and the guest of honor, Rachel Lader? He started with Stevie Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely" while the 12-year-old girl and her father shared their first dance. And, of course, the night wouldn't have been completely Sanjaya-fied if he hadn't sung The Kinks' "You Really Got Me," which he performed twice on Idol before being eliminated. That little girl must have had the time of her very...
America Idol judges by Michael Becker/FOX
Foxs juggernaut of a show is back tonight with its seventh season (and it seems like only yesterday when we were all obsessed with little Kelly Clarkson). Of course, people from around the country came by 43-hour bus trip, lost their jobs and even sacrificed their children (for a few days at least), all for the chance to be a part of the nation's biggest reality competition. Hear from a group of Idol wannabes as they describe what they gave up just to give it a go. Hey, if all else fails, its a story to tell your future grandkids (considering the show will probably still be airing then). Watch it now! | More online videosYour take: Will you be tuning in tonight? Or were you fed up from the Sanjaya insanity last season.
