A possible serial-killer case is assigned to Danny and Baez. Meanwhile, Erin considers becoming a judge; a mayoral candidate claims that Frank has been secretly investigating her spouse; and Eddie confronts her dad when he turns up in the hospital.
A mob boss faces charges for an old murder, but the case isn't open and shut thanks to an unexpected alibi who was once Erin's informant. Elsewhere, Frank gets into a battle with the commissioner of the New York City Fire Department.
Jamie is investigated by Internal Affairs for possible police brutality caught on camera during an anti-policy demonstration. The investigation then becomes linked to Danny and Baez's rape case involving a civil rights attorney.
The last remaining Mustang from the film "Bullitt" is stolen, so Danny and Baez investigate. Elsewhere, Erin clashes with Frank when she sides with her boss on a matter involving cops being held accountable for fixing traffic tickets.
A homicide case is reassigned to Erin after it results in a hung jury, and she and an ADA investigator try to track down a missing witness. Elsewhere, Jamie and Eddie pose as senior citizens in order rid a neighborhood of a troublemaking gang.
A bewildered man is found in the park covered in his girlfriend's blood, and he claims he has no memory of the events that lead him there. Elsewhere, an off-duty cop catches an armed robber, and Jamie helps cover up the officer's intoxicated state.
An ex-mobster agrees to help Danny find bodies linked to cold cases in exchange for leniency for his son on grand theft auto charges. Meanwhile, Jamie works undercover in a boiler-room operation in order to uncover secrets about the Sanfino crime family.
