Hugh Jackman
Could Wolverine claw his way onto the Dancing parquet?
If Samantha Harris has her way, then yes.
"Hugh Jackman, hands down," Harris tells People when asked to name her ideal Dancing with the Stars contestant. "He's a song and dance man. He's a Broadway guy. He's got charisma and you know he can move."
For his part, Jackman, who won a Tony for his performance in The Boy from Oz, didn't seem to be ...

Adam Carolla and Julianne Hough by Kelsey McNeal/ABC
Jeers to Dancing with the Stars for setting a new record for prime-time-killing filler. Seriously, do we need to sit through 92 mind- (and butt-)numbing minutes to watch six contestants do their two-minute routines? And there isn't even an elimination the first week! Factor in the corny "first meeting" segments, Tom Bergeron's high-larious ad libs and Samantha Harris' insipid post-dance interviews, and there's more stretching on the air than behind the scenes on this show. At least you can fast-forward through the vast majority of the episodes without missing anything. This is why God invented TiVo. Read and react to Bruce's opinions on John Adams' Laura Linney, Lost and more. Share your own raves and rants about other shows on the Reader Cheers & Jeers discussion board. We may feature your Cheer or Jeer on TVGuide.com or in TV Guide magazine!

"Oh Crap!" Jonathan Roberts, Marie Osmond by Carol Kaelson/ABC
Well, I think it's safe to say tonight got off to a rocky start. After delivering a decent samba, Marie Osmond passed out right on the ballroom floor! Longest. Commerical Break. Ever. I could be mistaken, but I thought I heard a few laughs from the audience at first, who must have thought she was joking around. But they quickly fell silent when Tom Bergeron went to break. During the commercial, I got so worried. I started to wonder what would happen if something went seriously wrong with her. Visions of heart attacks, strokes and aneurysms went through my head. Would the show really go on? Thankfully, she just became winded, and despite some embarrassment she's going to be fine. What a trooper! But Samantha Harris had it right; fainting was not going to get her a 10. This dance garnered Marie her lowest score yet.How great was Jane Seymour? When her dance started, I got a good view of the back of her dress, or lack thereof. What a body on her! I was amazed a woman 29 years my senior...

Tom Bergeron and Samantha Harris, Dancing with the Stars
Results night at Dancing with the Stars was chock full of comings and goings. First came word that cohost Samantha Harris would return from maternity leave next week. "She'll be here for our script meeting on Saturday," says host Tom Bergeron, who has kept in close contact with Harris. "And then she'll be back on the air Monday night."
Bergeron had predicted that Harris would be back within a month. She gave birth to a baby girl, Josselyn, on Sept. 23, the day before Dancing's fifth-season premiere. "When she starts talking about Josselyn, she gets all gushy," says Bergeron. "My girls are 19 and 17 now and I'm having a lot of 'sense' memory just talking to Samantha. I said, 'Doesn't baby head smell great?' And she said, 'You're right. Baby head is wonderful

Jane Seymour's still got it! Dancing With the Stars by Carol Kaelson/ABC
Episode Recap: "Premiere" (Sept. 24, 2007)Wow! Before the premiere of DWTS, I had no idea who Sabrina Bryan was but now I won't forget her! That was some cha-cha. The best ever on the show, according to Carrie Ann Inaba. I agree. This girl is the one to beat!If anyone can go toe-to-toe with Sabrina, it's Mel B. She looks fantastic and she can shake it too! Her energy is surprising, considering she has an infant at home! Speaking of infants, congratulations go to Samantha Harris on the birth of her baby girl! It is different without her, is it not? It surprises me to say it, but I miss her. Drew Lachey is a welcome addition as host, but the backstage interviews just aren't the same. But back to the dancing! I love Jennie Garth. Is it me, or is she more beautiful now than during her 90210 days? Once she finds her confidence, I think she has major potential. I am rooting for her all the way!Someone else to look out for is Jane Seymour. She is grace personified! But maybe that sh...

Lisa Rinna on Dancing with the Stars
It was one raunchy results night. Returning celeb Lisa Rinna, wearing a cut-down-to-there black sequined minidress, was about to perform a song-and-dance number from her upcoming Broadway stint as Roxie Hart in Chicago. In the commercial break, host Tom Bergeron turned to her and warned that she'd better keep her dress on. Rinna shot back, "Unless you want better ratings…. "
The crowd ate it up. And besides, it's hard to argue with Dancing's runaway sex appeal. Comedian Kathy Griffin, sitting ringside, was smitten with the show's new golden boy, Apolo Anton Ohno, who performed an encore of his pe

Even after being told he was voted out, Jerry Springer was still cracking jokes: Thank you for having me. And thank you for letting me go home. Its that mixture of sincere humbleness and self-deprecating humor that Im going to miss most about Jerry. I think Tom Bergeron said it best when he called Jerry the heart and soul of this show. This season would not have been the same without him. He gave the show a sweet paternal subplot, a little age variety and some wry commentary much funnier commentary than Samantha Harris provides (could he possibly sub for her the remainder of the season? Just a suggestion). And in spite of his constant wisecracks, he didnt treat this competition merely as a joke he did try to learn the dances. While he sometimes fell short in terms of natural ability and technique, he did succeed in entertaining the crowd. Jerry, you will be missed.Speaking of people missed, MIA Season 1 professional champ Alec ...
