The Veronica Mars movie has an official release date: March 14.
According to Entertainment Weekly, which broke the news, creator Rob Thomas was hoping to debut the film exactly a year after launching the movie's Kickstarter campaign, which garnered $2 million in just the first day.

Martin Starr and Ken Marino will reunite with their Party Down co-stars for the upcoming Veronica Mars movie, Rob Thomas announced on Kickstarter.
Starr, who was not in the original series, will join the cast as Lou "Cobb" Cobbler, another '09er returning for the school's 10-year reunion. Marino will reprise his role as private detective Vinnie Van Lowe.
