Normally, I love to write about reruns, especially my favorite show. There’s sitting back all comfy on the couch, knowing what’s going to happen next, but keeping an eye out for some of the things I might have missed. (This is GG, after all, and no mater how devoted you are, something great was going to zoom right past you.) It’s fun catching those fly-by slys or finally understanding one of Michel’s bizarre jokes. (Am I the only one who sometimes has a hard time understanding his over-the-top French accent. Question: It seems like every other movie I see advertised is based on a TV show, like The Dukes of Hazzard. But what about the other way around? I know there was a series based on My Big Fat Greek Wedding, but what other TV series have been based on a movie, and were any of them good?

Question: I was watching some show that listed all of the spin-offs of All in the Family. Wasn't there a show about Archie Bunker's daughter Gloria, post-divorce, as a single mom? That show is never mentioned regarding Norman Lear spin-offs. Or are just the successful shows mentioned?
