BET has given the green light to Single Black Female, a drama from The Game creators Mara Brock Akil and Salim Akil, Deadline reports.
The project is about the personal and professional life of an Atlanta-based talk show host. The series, written by Brock Akil, is part of the Akils' deal with the network that includes a series and several pilot commitments.
