Stacey Dash Exits Single Ladies

Stacey Dash is leaving the VH1 show Single Ladies.

"I have to be back in L.A. with my children right now and the Single Ladies shooting location [in Atlanta] makes this impossible," Dash said in a statement to Russell Simmons' website Global Grind.  "I wish VH1 the best of luck with the show in maintaining the strong fan base we developed in Season 1."

True Blood, 30 Rock Snag GLAAD Awards

Vampires and comedy writers took top honors at the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) Media Award in New York Saturday.

HBO's supernatural hit True Blood won for Outstanding Drama Series. The show features numerous gay characters — some are human (Nelsan Ellis' Lafayette) and others are vampires, like Russell Edgington, the vampire king of Mississippi. Denis O'Hare, who plays Russell, was on hand to accept the award.

Fox Orders Sketch-Comedy Pilot from Jamie Foxx

Almost 20 years since his breakout role on In Living Color, Jamie Foxx may be headed back to Fox for another sketch-comedy show, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The network has ordered the untitled pilot with Foxx and fellow In Living Color writers Fax Bahr and Adam Small serving as executive producers.
