The Cougars are 2-3 and it's six hours to kick-off. Leon Taylor (Russell Hornsby), back from injured reserve, plans to retake the running back throne from rookie Demetrius "D.H." Harris (Omar Gooding), who will not slow down for anyone. Eric Olczyk (Jason Matthew Smith) can't get over his hit that paralyzed a player and Coach George (Tony Denison) is depending on a psychiatrist to get Olczyk's head back in the game. Fresh from a night of partying, DH and his teammate Kelvin (Marcello Thedford) are late heading to the stadium. At game time, it's unclear who will take the field. watch

The league drug testing official is coming - two names are on the list and they better be clean. Otherwise, it's automatic suspension. DH (Omar Gooding) gets tipped off that he's already on the list. Guard Dog (Daniel Petronijevic) tempts Leon (Russell Hornsby) with a way to get his mojo back. Olczyk (Jason Matthew Smith) continues to struggle with the ramifications of the devastating hit he made. Speaking of pain, quarterback Derek McConnell's (Christopher Wiehl) sucks down anti-inflammatories like candy. The team doctor (Ron White) is concerned about McConnell's health. Russell Hornsby is all over the map. He's making movies, shooting a TV drama — ABC Family's Lincoln Heights, which airs a new episode tonight at 7 pm/ET — and he's currently gracing the New York stage in an August Wilson play that he's very passionate about.
