A prestigious cast headed by Academy Award-winners Sir Laurence Olivier ("Rebecca," "Hamlet"), Tommy Lee Jones ("Batman Forever," "The Client"), Robert Duvall ("A Civil Action," "Falling Down") and Jane Alexander ("All the President's Men," "Kramer vs. Kramer") bring to the screen the larger-than-life actions and emotions of Harold Robbins' ("The Carpetbaggers") best selling novel. Olivier is a Detroit auto mogul and the patriarch of a multi-generational family, who are wheeling and dealing in both business and at home. "The Betsy," a car named after his great-granddaughter, is an auto so perfect that it threatens the other auto companies. Co-starring Oscar-nominee Katharine Ross ("The Graduate," "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid"), Lesley-Anne Down ("North & South"), Edward Hermann ("The Lost Boys"), Kathleen Beller ("Dynasty") and Whitney Blake ("Hazel"). watch

The Wave: The classroom experiment that went too far ----- The Wave is based on a true incident that occured in a high school history class in Palo Alto, California, 1969. The powerful forces of group pressure that pervaded many historic movements such as Nazism are recreated in the classroom when history teacher Burt Ross introduces a "new" system to his students. Before long "The Wave," with its rules of "strength through discipline, community, and action, " sweeps from the classroom throughout the entire school. As most of the students join the movement, Laurie Saunders and David Collins recognize the frightening momentum of "The Wave" and realize they must stop it before it's too late.

Featuring interviews with James L. Brooks, Nora Ephron, Carrie Fisher, and other screenwriting luminaries, DREAMS ON SPEC takes an intimate look at how far people will go - and how much they will sacrifice - for the chance to pursue their dreams. The film follows three aspiring Hollywood screenwriters as they pour their hearts into their spec scripts, pitch their ideas to anyone who will listen, go to meetings, hold table reads, and work at low-level day-jobs - all in the hopes of one day seeing one of their beloved creations made into a movie. The documentary offers a funny and compelling look at inspiration, creativity, and solitude in Hollywood. THE EXTRAS include over 30 minutes of never-before-seen interviews with the superstar screenwriters featured in the film, including James L. Brooks, Nora Ephron, Gary Ross, Carrie Fisher, Larry Karaszewski, Scott Alexander, Paul Guay and many others.
