Dr. Rachel Harris (Dina Meyer) was working on a military experiment separating minds from bodies when she and her co-workers were forced to pull the plug and kill their subjects. Four years later, a schoolteacher goes on a murderous rampage and kills an ER doctor - one of Rachel's co-workers from her military-experiment days. In the sanitarium where Rachel and another former military co-worker, Kate (Barbara Tyson), now work, there's a power outage and previously harmless patients suddenly take on murderous tendencies.
