Headline magnet Angelina Jolie will play the mother of Beowulf in Robert Zemeckis' upcoming big-budget feature based on the Old English epic poem. Beowulf will be computer animated, using the same performance-capture technology as Zemeckis' The Polar Express, meaning some ridiculously lucky stagehand will get to stick those little ping-pong ball thingies all over Brad Pitt's lady friend.
