Episode Recap: "Now I Know, Don't Be Scared"Everyone has moments of sensitivity, regardless of how mischievous and manipulative they may be. As hilarious and mean (but perfect) as Danielle's imitation of her mother was — in appearance, cadence and affinity for coasters and "our lord" — I was happy to see sweet moments between mother and daughter. Bree was cognizant of the strong maternal emotions Danielle experienced and gave her the chance to hold her newborn, and to change her mind. Danielle too put aside the bitterness toward her mother and knew (for now) that her baby boy would be in better hands with the Hodges. Great acting by both Joy Lauren and Marcia Cross and the writers deserve credit for a great balance of comedy and drama — what with Danielle's dressing like her mother, her water breaking at the Halloween party on Bob's rug, a (super speedy) delivery overseen by Frankenstein, and giving Lynette's kids a real Halloween fright. Barbara Eden to Appear on Army Wives | Today's News: Our Take | 6/26/2007
On Army Wives, Barbara Eden will once again be married to a man in uniform. As first reported in the Ausiello Report vodcast, the I Dream of Jeannie star will play Victoria Grayson on the Aug. 12 episode. Along with her husband General Hugh Grayson (Robert Forster), she arrives on post to check up on things. No belly buttons this time around. It doesn’t hurt that the Lifetime show’s creator Katherine Fugate happens to be Eden’s niece. Fugate also has plans for an old friend from the days she was a writer on Xena: Warrior Princess. “I want to write a two-parter for Renee O'Connor (Xena’s bosom buddy Gabrielle) for the second season,” Fugate says. “We’ve stayed friends; she gave me my baby shower.” — Reporting by Ileane Rudolph read more

Robert Forster (Jackie Brown) and Michael Michele (ER) will play Wichita, Kan., detectives in a CBS TV-movie about serial killer Dennis Rader, aka BTK, who was arrested in February and faces up to 175 years in prison for his 31-year killing spree. Gregg Henry, who I totally remember as the creepy friend in Body Double, will portray Rader. read more
