Rhett and Link

Comedy commercial makers Rhett & Link whipped up this little local advert for Roller Kingdom in Reno, Nevada recently and, while I know everybody and their landline-using mother are making videos that scream super-low budget 90s, this commercial is incredible in its historical accuracy! I don t know how it was in your town, but where I grew up, D.A.R.E. and rollerskating were essentially the same thing. Part of me clings to the belief that United Skates of America is the only reason I m not still trundling around in the back of a paneled van, 20 years later. It s a little worrisome that the pedophile decided to go skating though, right? Unless rollerskating also prevents pedophilia quickly, to White House! (VVV)
