Greg Avedon drops off his beautiful girlfriend, Nikki, at her Malibu home. When Nikki enters the house, she is surprised to find Sunderson, a man she used to know. She tells him she wants to live her own life--not as his boss dictates--but Sunderson kills Nikki and makes it look like a robbery. Hunter and McCall are called to the scene where they talk to Greg, who is distraught. Greg has no knowledge of Nikki's past or where she got her money. Hunter remembers Nikki from a case a few years before when he was investigating a murder. She was the mistress of Michael Varn. Hunter believed Varn was responsible for that murder, but he could never prove it. watch
