A twelve year old baseball playing 'tomboy' attracts underworld attention because she knows the whereabouts of $100,000 in stolen diamonds as 'Little Girl Lost.' Starsky and Hutch pick up a ragamuffin girl for shoplifting sweetcakes, and while they are holding her, her father is killed by underworld gangsters just blocks away. In checking out her father's identity, Starsky and Hutch learn that the little girl is probably the only person alive who may know the whereabouts of $100,000 in stolen diamonds. Meanwhile, the gangland element tries to intercept the feisty twelve year old. One of the criminals disguises himself as a priest and takes her to a baseball game, and then unwittingly follows her to Hutch's apartment to collect!
