Having Denny appear on one episode of Grey's Anatomy, because Izzie's memories were triggered by a case, is one thing. But to make him a ghostly fixture in her life and carry on some kind of romance from beyond the grave is beyond ridiculous. — Evie
MATT: I hear you. Getting it on with a ghost is so circa-1981 Barbara Hershey. Now, if s-e-x between living, breathing humans is what floats your boat — and lord knows the pickings are slim if you only watch Grey's, Ghost Whisperer and Supernatural these days — Drs. Owen Hunt and Cristina Yang might soon move beyond spontaneous necking and into full-on boinking. As Kevin McKidd himself tells me, "At the end of the day, this is Grey's Anatomy, so you can bet good money on it!" (Read my full Q&A with "McArmy" on Thursday. When two women are robbed at an ATM machine and call 911, the cops chase the suspect, who starts a shootout. Minutes before he dies, Green (Jesse L. Martin) and Fontana (Dennis Farina) question him in the hospital, and he confesses to killing 12-year-old Sara Dolan, a case Fontana worked on ten years ago. Sara was a model whose wealthy father was the prime suspect in the murder, but no arrests were ever made. Fontana and Green go back to pick up the trail, and find out that Dan Flood (Ari Fliakos), the dead perp, worked construction at the Dolan's house. When they try to question Sara's father Rob (Raymond J. Barry), he refuses to talk. They are determined though, to see this through. Flood had said he had an accomplice, Johnny, and they figure out its Johnny Zona (David Vadim), who is now working at a golf shop but has a long criminal record.
They talk to one of Zona's pals from prison and he tells them that Zona admitted to strangling a girl. Sara's autopsy says she died fro watch
