Blake Shelton, Reba McEntire and more of country music's biggest stars are uniting Wednesday night for a benefit concert to aid the victims of the Oklahoma tornado.
Healing in the Heartland: Relief Benefit Concert, which will air live at 9/8c on NBC, was organized by Shelton, who hails from the Sooner state.
On his new album Tuskegee, one of the year's most pleasant surprises, R&B and pop icon Lionel Richie reinterprets his catalogue with help from contemporary country stars, adding a little twang to hits like "Say You, Say Me" and "Dancing on the Ceiling." Friday night, some of those same artists — Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw and Rascal Flatts among them — reunite with Richie in Las Vegas to show off their creations live onstage in ACM Presents: Lionel Richie and Friends — In Concert (9/8c, CBS).
TV Guide Magazine: Aside from the performances, what else does the special feature?
Richie: The artists' stories about me and how the songs affected them.

After a grueling, nausea-inducing Hollywood week and uneven semifinals, American Idol has chosen its Top 13, who begin the live final performances Wednesday (8/7c, Fox). TVGuide.com spent some time with the lucky 13, and learned more about the people behind those voices.
Noticeably lacking in the ranks of The X Factor's contestants: budding country music stars. (Maybe they didn't want to risk another Scotty McCreery-style steamroller upstaging upstarts like "Astro.") And now, as the Top 11 square off, Fox's overblown singing contest (8/7c) faces its toughest competition to date: another musical extravaganza, ABC's three-hour broadcast of The 45th Annual CMA Awards (8/7c) from Nashville, with Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley co-hosting for the fourth year in a row. (They'll perform their hit "Remind Me" during the show.)
Justin Bieber and Rascal Flatts
Justin Bieber took home his first country music trophy at the CMT Awards.
Bieber's song "That Should Be Me," featuring Rascal Flatts, was named the Best Collaborative Video of the Year.
The Voice mentor Blake Shelton was also a big winner, earning Best Web Video of the Year for "Kiss My Country Ass" and Male Video of the Year for "Who Are You When I'm Not Looking." Shelton's wife Miranda Lambert won Female Video of the Year for "The House That Built Me."
Why has Rascal Flatts band member Gary LeVox received death threats? During a video shoot for the country band and Justin Bieber's collaboration, photos were released of LeVox chopping Bieber's precious locks. Outrage ensued.
"There was a 6-year-old that hit me with a Hannah Montana doll yelling at me for cutting Justin Bieber's hair!" LeVox tells TVGuide.com.
Did Justin Bieber really cut his famous locks?
While filming a music video for a song he recorded with country band Rascal Flatts, the 16-year-old singing sensation got a little chop. Although his regular hairdresser Vanessa did the cutting, lead singer Gary LeVox appears to be having some fun with Bieber and the scissors.
