Jessica Biel by Lester Cohen/ WireImage.com
You know I'm all about Ms. Charisma, but I could kinda see this: Jessica Biel is in talks to make Wonder Woman's cups runneth over in the Justice League of America film, says Variety. The studio has no comment on the buzz, instead saying it will announce its Batman, Aquaman et al all at once, at a later date.... Jennifer Aniston is a floral designer who befriends Aaron Eckhart's hypocritical self-help guru in the drama Traveling.... Kevin James will write, produce and star as a Mall Cop thrust into comedic action when a band of thieves take over his turf.... Rachel McAdams, Helen Mirren and Robin Wright Penn have come on board State of Play, an adaptation of the U.K. miniseries.

Or Christina Aguilera. Those two lookers, with Rachel McAdams and Heather Graham, represent Jenna Jameson's wish list to portray the on-camera undulator in a film based on her autobiography How to Make Love Like a Porn Star. "This is a role that every girl in Hollywood is going to want to play," Jameson tells the Adult Video News website (which I, um, found under my dad's bed). "It's dramatic and comedic.... It's got all the ingredients of something worthy of Oscar contention." (Or at least a con named Oscar's attention.) Scarlett Johansson's resume, it should be noted, now includes being named Sexiest Woman of the Year by the brand-new issue of Playboy.A producer on the biopic, Jameson says, "I'm really excited," adding, "This is the biggest thing I've ever done" which, when you think about it, is saying something.

Slings & Arrows' Sarah Polley
To watch, or not to watch? That is the question. The answer should actually be fairly obvious since Sundance Channel's Canadian import, Slings & Arrows, is so deliciously written, with its wry sense of humor and its incredibly stylized dialogue filled with juicy layered meanings. TVGuide.com recently had a chance to speak with the show's head writer, Bob Martin — who just so happens to have won a Tony for his narration of the Broadway musical The Drowsy Chaperone and is busying himself for the London staging — about Slings' third season, which premieres Sunday at 8 pm/ET.
TVGuide.com: I walk past your smiling face on a huge Drowsy billboard every morning. Is that a bit surreal for you, because usually you're behind the scenes as a writer?Bob

Mary Lynn Rajskub
Chloe is a traitor! OK, that's not exactly true, but 24's Mary Lynn Rajskub is consorting with the enemy, guest-starring on the May 9 season finale of WB's Gilmore Girls. The actress will play one of several singers who invade Stars Hollow hoping to get discovered after an agent taps the town's troubadour to open for Neil Young. Rajskub — who honed her crooner chops as part of the improv comedy-music group the Girls Guitar Club — called me from the Gilmore set late yesterday to chat about the Girls gig, Chloe's upcoming "romantic challenge" and her plans to take Manhattan this summer.
Ausiello: I just want to point out that I interviewed you back in 2003 when you first started on 24, before Chloe became the superstar she is now.Rajskub: Th

What's in a name? Cillian Murphy
Question: I just saw Red Eye and there's something I don't understand: What was the exchange between the main characters, Lisa (Rachel McAdams, who was amazing) and Jack, about his last name being rude? I also thought the actor playing Jack was phenomenal; what's his claim to fame? Or was this movie his big break?
Answer: It's not that his name, Jackson Rippner, is rude. It's that it's menacing, sounding uncomfortably like "Jack the Ripper." And since Red Eye (2005) is a Wes Craven thriller, I don't think it's giving away too much to say that the suggestion isn't without meaning. Rippner is played by up-and-coming Irish actor Cillian Murphy, 29, who was studying law when he took a sudden career detour into acting.

[Editor's Note: The Teen Choice Awards were rebroadcast on Wednesday night on the TV Guide Channel.] I have to say right away, our TV Guide Channel kicked butt on the official red carpet two-hour preshow, and I'd state this even if I didn't work here. Kimberly Caldwell, Rosanna Tavarez and Chris Booker were awesome hosts and set the proper tone for Fox's awards show. Speaking of which…8:00 pm Gwen Stefani opens the show with her No. 1 hit "Hollaback Girl." Can I stress how much I love the original, unedited version and how much I detest the edited version? I know it's network TV, but why perform the song if it has to be edited? Sing "Rich Girl" or something else. All those "shhh" sounds go right through me. OK — got that off my chest.8:06 I said this about the MTV Movie Awards and I'll say it here. How does Andy Dick continue to get booked on these awards each year? So. Not. Funny.8:12 Jim Car
