Josh Schwartz, Rachel Bilson
It's an O.C. reunion for creator Josh Schwartz and actress Rachel Bilson: The two are teaming up for a new project at NBC, Deadline , a rep for the network confirms.
Ghost Angeles will star Bilson as a young woman in L.A. who talks to the dead and helps out ghosts as they help her. Schwartz will co-write it with Ugly Betty producer Henry Alonso Myers.
How I Met Your Mother
Barney Stinson is never shy about using superlatives on How I Met Your Mother, but the man who writes those lines, creator/executive producer Carter Bays, exercises greater restraint.
Except when describing the upcoming sixth season.

"Honestly, I never say stuff like this, but I think this is will be our best season yet," Bays tells TVGuide.com. "I'm going to call my shot and say that. At the end of last season, I think we were all feeling really old, and there's been kind of a rejuvenation around here. I think a lot of it has to do with the stories of the season."
After two seasons primarily of stand-alone episodes, the time-jumping sitcom will ...

How I Met Your Mother
Concerned that their show had become too "sitcom-my" last season, lacking the emotional growth of the show's earlier years, How I Met Your Mother creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas have mapped out a pivotal sixth season that, says Bays, will be "more emotionally invested in these characters' lives and tweak the larger mystery of the series in a way that we've never done before...
How I Met Your Mother
Like Barney Stinson and suits, How I Met Your Mother and music fit well. So co-creator and executive producer Carter Bays thought it's appropriate for the CBS sitcom to mark its 100th episode with a big, splashy musical number.
"I don't think we're ...
The new season of Chuck is just around the corner (Jan. 10, 9/8c), so TVGuide.com hit the set of the NBC spy series to get the lowdown on what's ahead for the super-charged Chuck. Zachary Levi lounged with us between scenes in a new location that we cannot disclose, under threat of being relocated by the CIA. However, Levi was more than willing to dish on Chuck's new love interest, how the Intersect 2.0 works and what's ahead in the additional six episodes ordered by the peacock network...
Is Rachel Bilson going to be the Mother?
The O.C. alum has booked a guest spot on the 100th episode of How I Met Your Mother as the love interest in Ted's story line, TVGuide.com has confirmed.
"Ted will also get as close to ...
The O.C. alumna Rachel Bilson was making the rounds last week to promote the DVD release of Jumper, directed by Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity) and starring Hayden Christensen. I grabbed the opportunity to ask if she might resurface as Chuck's sandwich shop sweetheart. Plus: Was there an O.C. story she would have liked to see happen for Summer?

After four seasons and countless fistfights, the soap headed into the sunset, and we take a look back on its juiciest twists.1)"Welcome to the O.C., Bitch! Premiere (August 5, 2003) Lukes bon mot to new punching-bag-in-town Ryan (Benjamin McKenzie) quickly became the signature line of the series. Says Schwartz, Kids from Orange County say theyre from the O.C. like its the Ukraine. I always found it funny so I gave Luke that line.2) Marissa Dies The Graduates (May 18, 2006) Marissa (Mischa Barton) died in Ryans arms after being run off the road by her bad-boy ex Volchok in Season 3s shocking finale. Despite what the rumor mill would have you think, Schwartz contends that the tragedy was not dictated by anyones off-set antics: Losing Marissaand Mischawas a big loss for the show.3) Julies Affair With Luke The Telenovela (February 25, 2004) Jaws...
Is it just me, or are these episodes getting better every week? The writing is top-notch, the storylines are deliciously deep and complex and the humor is right there. Each Monday I think it can't get any better, and then I am happily and pleasantly surprised. So what happened tonight? Chuck seemed to have everything going his way: A beautiful "normal" woman (returning guest star Rachel Bilson) was interested in him... really interested, as the sweaty homage to Titanic illustrated. But the Intersect in his brain had to go and ruin it all. He flashed on the name of Lou's smuggler ex-boyfriend, and that lead to a downward spiral of mistake after mistake. He was ordered to wear a wire on a date with Lou to try to get some info, and he was so busy trying to do that that he ended up ignoring Lou. Sarah showing up didn't help either.Chuck managed to make it up to her with a sexy sandwich order and a bouquet of Gerber daisies, but the intel he gathered the previous night ended up being comp...
