Suits: Jessica's Getting Some — But What Does That Mean for the Firm?

Turns out Jessica holds "morning meetings" too.

On Suits' season premiere last week (watch it here), Jessica (Gina Torres) was revealed to be in a secret relationship with SEC prosecutor-turned-Pearson Specter employee Jeff Malone (D.B. Woodside). And if you ask Torres, it's been a long time coming.

Postmortem: Suits boss breaks down those two big premiere reveals

"It's about time!" she tells TVGuide.com. "I've been waiting patiently for four seasons. [Creator Aaron Korsh and I] had been talking about a love interest for Jessica for a couple of seasons. It was really important that when that happened that it be the right guy, a guy who's worthy of Jessica. You wait so long to see something happen. Whenever I did an interview, every time I discussed her life, people who had been ...

Thursday TV: Meloni Tackles Comedy as Jack

I've barely adjusted to The Goldbergs mining the 1980s for comic nostalgia — seems not that long ago that Geraldo Rivera opened Al Capone's empty vault, and that's a subplot in an early April episode — and now comes Fox's Surviving Jack (Thursday, 9:30/8:30c), a coming-of-age family sitcom set in the not-so-distant past of the 1990s. (Can't wait for the arc about Y2K anxiety.)

Christopher Meloni on Surviving Jack's Tough Father Figure: "He's Not a Mean-Spirited Guy"

He may act like a tough dad and sound like a tough dad, but Surviving Jack star Christopher Meloni wants to make it very clear: his character's bark is far worse than his bite.

"Jack is never mean. He's not a mean-spirited guy," Meloni tells TVGuide.com of his new TV alter ego, husband and strict father of two Jack Dunlevy. "Everyone's antenna is ... read more

Will Louis Learn the Truth About Mike? 6 Things to Know About Suits' Midseason Return

Is Louis really going to expose Mike?

Suits resumes its third season on Thursday (9/8c, USA), picking up right where the midseason finale left off: Louis (Rick Hoffman) discovering that Mike (Patrick J. Adams) does not have a Harvard file at the firm.

"From the beginning [of the premiere], he pursues it," creator and executive producer Aaron Korsh tells TVGuide.com. "There's no way for him not to. Louis loves the law — he worships it — and he cannot have anyone besmirch it or the firm's name. But at the same time, someone could've just taken the file or it got lost or something. He's not sure exactly what's going on, but he obviously thinks something is amiss."

Suits postmortem: What's next for Mike and Louis?

On Thursday's premiere, which features a cameo by Michael Phelps, Louis will make his suspicions known to Donna (Sarah Rafferty), who has to do some quick thinking to throw him off the scent. But will it be enough?

Here are six things to expect from Louis' probe and the remaining six episodes of the season.

Chris Meloni on Returning to TV After SVU: "I Couldn't Do That Schedule Again"

When it came to looking for his next TV project after logging 12 seasons on Law & Order: SVU, Christopher Meloni had one simple mandate.

"No grim circumstances for 22 one-hour episodes. I just couldn't do that schedule again. So I could be grim for 13 episodes," Meloni told reporters Monday at Fox's Television Critics Association winter previews about his new show Surviving Jack. "Then this pilot plopped on my desk and... read more
