Keck's Exclusives: Will Dallas Welcome Back Priscilla Presley?

Patrick Duffy, Priscilla Presley

Over the summer, Priscilla Presley got her Facebook friends excited by posting, "For all of those who mentioned that you would like to see me on Dallas, thank you very much for that support! We will see what happens..."

But are the writers of TNT's reboot really considering bringing back Jenna Wade, whom Presley played from 1983 to '88? read more

On the Set: Dallas Says Goodbye to J.R. Ewing

Larry Hagman

A banquet hall in the posh Dallas Petroleum Club, high atop the city's Chase Tower, has been decorated with lavish floral bouquets and framed photographs of TV legend Larry Hagman in his sweet, smilin' heyday. "This is the episode where we honor Larry, as well as his character," Patrick Duffy (Bobby) says of Monday's Dallas, which addresses Hagman's untimely November death by murdering, memorializing and burying J.R. Ewing — all within... read more

Ask Matt: Eureka, Dallas, Falling Skies, True Blood, Damages

Linda Gray

Question: I hope you'll mention the passing of one of my favorite shows, Eureka. With all the hoopla around the finale of The Closer and the buzz about new and returning summer shows, the final episode of this quirky and creative Syfy gem will probably go unnoticed by most. Over the years it's become one of my favorites, serving up some high concept sci-fi stories with a healthy dose of humor and heart. Although I knew it was ending, the announcement last week of the July 16 "series finale" made me sadder than I expected. It's like nothing else on TV and I will miss all these wonderful, eccentric characters and this charming, if sometimes dangerous, town. The Dummies' Guide to Dallas

Who shot J.R.? That was the question that plagued millions of Dallas viewers during the summer of 1980. But that famous phrase may also be the only thing today's advertiser-coveted youths know about the veteran CBS nighttime soap. However, it's both of these groups, the obsessive former fans and those unacquainted with the Ewing family, that TNT hopes to win over with its reboot, which premieres Wednesday at 9/8c. Just in case, has devised a handy cheat sheet to catch newbies up on all the romance, backstabbing and, of course, who actually killed J.R. (Um, spoiler alert?).... read more

On the Set: The Ewings Return to Dallas

Pass the ribs, kick up your heels and get ready to hoof it till the cows come home. As far back as the '70s, the annual Ewing barbecue has been the hottest ticket in Texas, and this year TV Guide Magazine scored an exclusive invite. While the land down at Southfork looks remarkably untouched, time has changed the Ewings since CBS aired the last of Dallas' 357 episodes back in 1991, after 13 sudsy seasons.

Taking center stage on the dance floor... read more

Keck's Exclusives: Desperate Housewife Does Dallas

Brenda Strong

After seven seasons spent narrating the wacky goings on of Wisteria Lane, Desperate Housewives' late great (and rarely seen) Mary Alice Young will finally be getting more screen time — in Dallas.

On TNT's new Dallas pilot, Brenda Strong will pick up where original Dallas players Victoria Principal and Priscilla Presley left off. She'll play... read more

The Winner is Crowned!

Well kids, this is it! It's been just over two months since this crazy season started and now it's all coming to an end. Who would be taking home the crown and who would go home in utter defeat? More importantly, who is being booted right away and settling for third place? I'm anticipating an interesting (yet long!) night ahead, so let's dive into it one last time! After a short interview with our finalists, Usher entered the ballroom and I shouted with glee. He's sexy and talented and he really hasn't had a song I haven't liked. Despite having a headset, I definitely think he wasn't singing his new hit song "Love in This Club" but that's really fine with me. It's a dancing show and if singing live would have made it hard for him to break it down at the end then he shouldn't have sang. I also think every performer on this show has lip-synched so this isn't abnormal. We've had some pretty great performances this year. Which was your favorite? Then the first big moment of the night arr... read more

Backstage Report: Shannon's Big Scare and Priscilla's "Great Ride"

Louis Van Amstel and Priscilla Presley by Kelsey McNeal/ABC

The teleprompter fiasco wasn't the only technical glitch Tuesday night on Dancing with the Stars. During the last commercial break, before Tom Bergeron announced the second couple to land in the bottom two, the dreaded red spotlight came on. Its target: Shannon Elizabeth and Derek Hough. The hellish spotlight didn't last long. But as the commercials rolled, Elizabeth couldn't stop crying, convinced that the red light was the kiss of death and that the judges' tough remarks about her samba the night before would be sending her home. "I don't want this to be over," she had said just before the show. "I'm dreading the day when I don't get to go to the rehearsal studios every morning to work with Derek. I love everything about this show: the rehearsals, the costumes, the makeup, the performances.... Before this, I was pretty much sitting around the house and thinking that was OK." The red light turned out to have no significance whatsoever, as it was Priscilla Presley who got the bad... read more

Ay Ca-rumba!

Holy smokes, it's Latin Night! With the exception of the quickstep, I will take a Latin dance over a ballroom dance any day. There's something so mundane about the fox trot that makes me slip into a boredom-induced coma. Luckily, we get a whole night of booty-shaking goodness. Who will the samba and rumba take as a victim this week? Let's dab on some Eau de D-List and find out! Yes, I have a million of these stupid D-List intros and they are all corny and ridiculous. If you are rolling your eyes right now, my work is done! Mario — I enjoy his dancing so much it makes me crazy that more people aren't on the Mario bandwagon. He's very smooth and exudes sexuality. I hope he gains some fans so he can stay in the competition. Also, Karina is not my favorite pro but she looked amazing in that yellow outfit. Samba 27Cilla — Finally they left that woman's hair alone. She looked decent for the first time this competition. I'm extremely jealous that she can still do a split! I'm ea... read more
