Episode Recap: "The Girl Who Goes Bald"— This week's recap by Ben KatnerWow, my first time subbing as TVGuide.com's America's Next Top Model recapper, and I get makeover week. Scary. Be gentle with me, people.The episode starts out with Victoria saying for the umpteenth time that it didn't occur to her until recently that modeling might be a kick in the smarty-pants, and I'm not buying it. I mean, if she'd ever even considered trying out for this show, she'd have known that the wannabes, not to mention Miss Tyra, have major hate-ons for girls who don't sob openly about how walking down a runway in clothes you'd never see anyone wear on the street has been their dream since they were in utero.Meanwhile, Saleisha — clearly forgetting that once you say you won't you most certainly will — announces that she's not ever going to be in the bottom two. Prince has decided to sue YouTube and a bunch of other websites for unauthorized use of his music so that, according to Reuters, he can "reclaim his art on the Internet." Fine. But he'd damn well better leave my Apollonia videos alone.... According to thesmokinggun.com, Lance Armstrong is as mad as a wet cat — a wet cat with an attorney, I might add — that an Oklahoma firm is peddling pet collars modeled after his yellow "Livestrong" wristbands.... A security guard at a 1996 Guns N' Roses concert is finally getting around to suing Axl Rose for allegedly kicking him in the head during a performance.... Andy Garcia is being sued by a woman who claims his film, The Lost City, is based on her husband's life, TMZ says. Since her spouse is a sax player who was exiled from Cuba after Castro took over and Garcia plays a nightclub owner who flees of his own accord, I have a hunch this isn't going to go well for her. read more

Here we go, again! American Idol, or American I Wanna Be? Filling two hours is going to be pretty hard considering there's only about 45 minutes worth of programming!!! When they showed a clip of Prince from last season, I thought, What a fantastic way to start the show, but they were just teasing me!!! Should we talk about Paula on the Seattle newscast? No — you can all just watch it on YouTube.The word of the day: overindulgence. Minneapolis is the starting city. Can you say “Fargo?” Jewel is invited to join the judges. Frankly, I’m not sure she’s much of a singer, but with 20 million units sold, it’s hard to ignore her appeal. The first girl, Jessica, sang a Jewel song, and then fell apart on the stage when they let her know she was a terrible singer. It was painful to watch, but I guess that’s just the fun of the show.
