During her guest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Portia de Rossi created a video spoof to apologize to all the people who have suffered as a result of her marriage to Ellen DeGeneres. The actress admits she was selfish in wanting to live happily ever after with the one she loved; she never considered the horrors to which it would subject numerous people — those who got paper cuts from their protest signs, for example.

Takei — who made Brad Altman his husband in September —was quick to weigh in on unofficial results that showed voters on Tuesday approved the constitutional ban known as Proposition 8.
"It was astounding to think that the hard-won equality that made my recent marriage to Brad Altman [possible] would no longer be possible for others," Takei told UsMagazine.com.
