In the hilarious Disney Channel Original Movie Dadnapped, Emily Osment (Lilly in Hannah Montana) stars as Melissa Morris, the daughter of best-selling mystery writer Neal Morris. Instead of spending quality time with Melissa, Neal seems more interested in creating exciting missions and "Tripp Traps" for Trip Zoome, the imaginary hero he's made famous in his books. But when her dad gets "dadnapped" by crazy fans (David Henrie from Wizards of Waverly Place, Moises Arias from Hannah Montana, Phil Lewis from The Suite Life on Deck) in a real-life mystery, Melissa cleverly taps into her own inner "Zoome" and comes to the rescue.

Smallville's Erica Durance: Lois Will Get to Play the Hero

After more than eight seasons, Lois Lane (Erica Durance) and Clark Kent (Tom Welling) have finally become a couple on Smallville. TVGuide.com spoke with Durance about the blossoming relationship between these iconic characters and Lois getting to play her own hero...

Smallville Scoop: Justice League Returns! Plus Clark Gets a Desk Job

Get ready for the return of the Justice League. When Smallville comes back in September, the Super Friends reunite to search for Clark Kent, who went missing in May's season finale after tussling with Lex Luthor at the Fortress of Solitude.Smallville creators Al Gough and Miles Millar have departed (and are currently producing the Hannah Montana movie), so four of the series' longtime producers have taken over for Season 8. "Luckily [Al and Miles'] voices are still talking to us in our heads as we're breaking stories," says Kelly Souders, who is running the show with Brian Peterson, Todd Slavkin and Darren Swimmer. "Their visions come to us all the time, so I think they did a great job of preparing us for this day."One of the first things the new quartet did was lock in Justin Hartley for at least 12 episodes as Green Arrow/Oliver Queen, a fan favorite who appeared frequently in Season 6 and once last season. He'll start this new chapter by gathering Aquaman and Black Canary to resc... read more

January 25, 2007: Labryinth

Clark's whole world changes in the blink of an eye, and all of a sudden he's a patient in a psychiatric hospital. He has no powers; Martha is married to Lionel; Lex lost his legs; the Talon doesn't exist; and Lana? Lana lives at the Kent farm, which she "bought" from Martha after Jonathan died. I can't talk about "Labryinth" without referring to a certain Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode from Season 6 called "Normal Again." This brilliantly took every aspect of Buffy's world and explained it as nothing more than a mere hallucination. It was my favorite Season 6 episode other than "Tabula Rasa" and "Once More with Feeling." Like I said, "Normal Again" was brilliant. "Labryinth" was decent. It got major points off for breathing new life into the Clark-Lana saga. I know if that girl had just left him alone for a little longer, he'd get over her. (Or is that one of my delusions?) This particular Smallville gave us beaucoup de Clark and Lana scenes and even dared give us a scene where po... read more

Phil Morris Is Set for Blastoff, as Smallville's New Hero

He wasn't in last week's "Justice" episode, but tonight TV veteran Phil Morris (Mission: Impossible) drops in on Smallville as J'onn J'onzz (pronounced "John Jones"), a familiar face from the world of DC Comics. Like Kal-El, J'onn is from a different planet — Mars — hence his other handle, the Martian Manhunter. Given that J'onn is a shape-shifter, many actors could have been hired to play the part, but Smallville scored by casting Morris, who brings a mature and guiding presence (something that Clark has needed since losing his dad) as well as a solid knowledge of the comic-book world. TVGuide.com: Wouldn't it have been appropriate for you to be in last week's "Justice" episode, which featured Green Arrow, Aquaman, Cyborg and Impulse?Morris: All those characters read more
