When AMC's The Killing returns for its third season, Detective Sarah Linden will be leading a happier, healthier life.

One year after the end of the Rosie Larsen murder investigation, Linden (Mireille Enos) is now a ferry worker living on an island off the coast of Seattle. Peter Sarsgaard Joins AMC's The Killing

Peter Sarsgaard has been cast as the new villain in AMC's The Killing, Entertainment Weekly reports.

Sarsgaard will play a Death Row inmate who's been in and out of jail since he was a kid. He joins series regulars Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman, as well as new cast members Max Fowler and Elias Koteas.
