CBS announced Thursday that Hawaii Five-0 will return for a sixth season, and Jorge Garcia will be back as well.
Garcia, who's guest-starred on two episodes of the series, has been upped to a series regular for Season 6, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Friday's episode of Hawaii Five-0 pays tribute to the attack on Pearl Harbor and the subsequent executive order that established Japanese internment camps on the Pacific Coast.
"I think that not many people know about our country's past, and I think it's really important that these stories don't die," star Daniel Dae Kim tells TVGuide.com. It's nice when television can entertain and educate at the same time. Hawaii Five-0 fans, get ready to see a lot more of Capt. Lou Grover.
Chi McBride has been promoted to a series regular on the CBS series, TVGuide.com has learned. The Boston Public and Pushing Daisies alum made his first appearance as Grover (a character who also appeared in the original series) in the Season 4 premiere this fall. Grover recently moved with his family from Chicago to Oahu and now heads the S.W.A.T. unit on the island.

Will Kono (Grace Park) be brought back into the fold? And who, or what, poses the biggest threat to the team this season?
TVGuide.com turned to O'Loughlin and executive producer Peter Lenkov to get answers to eight burning questions ahead of Season 4:

NATALIE: Though Cristina and Owen have broken up, Kevin McKidd says that they'll still be linked. "I've been assured by the writers that what happens with them as far as their relationship status, they're always going to be connected emotionally," McKidd says. "So even if they're not a couple, they'll always be, in a way, a spiritual couple... and I'll still get to work with her." Still...
