Dillon's farm is badly damaged by a storm and it's the last straw for the beleaguered Dillon, who decides he's leaving. Everyone must come together to change his mind. The village is hotly divided over Brian Quigley's latest ambitious venture to attract a Korean multi-national and Father Peter is suffering a crisis of faith. Brendan decides to lead a sit-in on the factory site, which is threatening to engulf a local beauty spot. 'Brian, you can always make money,' says Brendan. 'But you cannot make a tree, you cannot make an orchid and you cannot make a badger.' Quigley's response is unequivocal, 'We can't have frogs and toads and hooting bloody owls dictating how we earn a living.' So will business triumph over local feelings?
