Peter Frampton Fast Facts:

Started his first band, called the Little Ravens, when he was 10.
Childhood friends with David Bowie.
Released five albums with Humble Pie before going solo in 1971.
His 1976 double live album, Frampton Comes Alive!, is one of the best-selling live albums of all time.
Uses a talk box, dubbed "The Framptone," on famous hits "Do You Feel Like We Do" and "Show Me the Way."
Named Rolling Stone's Artist of the Year in 1976.
Decided to become a United States citizen after the 9/11 attacks.
Has a cameo in Cameron Crowe's 2000 film Almost Famous, for which he also served as a technical advisor. He portrays a road manager for Humble Pie, his real-life former band.
