This week on 30 Rock, Liz "accidentally" started dating a little person (guest star Peter Dinklage), a health scare taught Jack a life (and love) lesson, and Jenna's biopic dream was dashed by a pretty woman. Read on for the full recap!

Well that was a nice change of pace Ive got to ask right away though did any of you get a Back To The Future vibe I kept waiting for them to call each other McFly or to have a senior-ized Lea Thompson walk in or for Christian to ask Sean What are you lookin at butthead Kidding but yet not the makeup reminded me of that classic flick I kept thinking how unrealistic it was for Sean and Julia to not get Conors other hand done Why would Sean so obsessed with his own childhood deformity allow his son to only get one of his hands done Yes Hurricane Lenore caused a delay but I found it hard to believe Sean would give up Thats why I was hoping to see Sean wake up at the end and say I dreamed that we decided not to get Conors other hand fixed and he chose to get it done 20 years from now So thats really my only complaintWhat a treat it was to see young Kelsey Lynn Batelaan get another chance to show some emotion as Annie and not get her usual throwaway

Let me get this out of the way Merrill Bobolit was always a real pain in the ass to McNamaraTroy Who knew hed come to them because of a wait for it real pain in the ass OK I feel much better And I hope Bobolit felt much better after his anal-retread surgery Ouch When he walked in very slowly as though he was in agony I knew right away his pain had to be due to his being repeatedly raped in prison I didnt expect him to admit that he became Escobars prison wife and that Escobars name had been branded on his butt All joking aside I was looking forward to the return of Bobolit Joey Slotnick and Escobar Robert LaSardo ever since last weeks previews And not just Seans imagination of Escobar the real thingWhat a dastardly plan of Escobars to escape prison by burning his already redesigned face making it look like it was done by his fellow prisoners requesting corrective plastic surgery by none other than his nemeses Christian and Sean and then m

You knew it was inevitable that Michelle would maneuver Burts death but I didnt think it would be so soon I was really digging Larry Hagman in the role but this doesnt mean he cant come back for some fabulous NipTuck dream sequences When Michelle told Francis the nurse to go home and that shed take care of giving Burt his pills I knew Michelle was lying Poor Burt had to crawl out of bed and attempt the stairs by himself just to try to take those dang pills Too late Burt died a dramatically painful death while his wife Michelle just stared at him But taking Burts kidney saved her dear Christians life Excellent timing with that text message from James to the whorestaff member with the razor blade who was having sex with Christian Abort Since James had 24 hours to give those two mysterious French-speaking Asian-American dudes one more kidney to meet their quota mission accomplished So this means Christian still doesnt know James and Michelle are the orga

I always know Im going to like an episode of any TV show when they include flashbacks to the childhood of one of the characters especially when we get to learn something new about that character That was the case tonight when we discovered that Sean himself had a facial deformity as a youth and had plastic surgery to correct it No wonder hes been freaking out about Conors situation and about his eventual corrective surgery As Julia told Sean That kid is why youre a plastic surgeon Glad they ended up going forward with the surgery and so far Conor seems to be OK Didnt the promos for tonight with Sean saying to Julia I have something to tell you make you think he was going to come clean about his affair with the tragically departed Monica But now Julia has something to hide from Sean her little kiss with Marlowe Interesting line that Marlowe muttered as he walked out Thats why I have to leave You could tell he was into Julia but I didnt think she re

First things first AC Slaters got a nice ass Did I ever think Id type that anywhere I suppose thats what you get when you spend most of your time Dancing with the Stars and being Bold Beautiful I think youll all agree that Mario Lopez has aged quite well Whether I buy him as a plastic surgeon is a different story I did like that Marios character Dr Mike told Christian how hes able to look so good besides working out every day I dont eat And more dialogue I found extremely true Im 33 Basic metabolic rates slow down every decade after 30 Tell me about it I am always a Debbie Downer when my friends turn that age and I say to them Happy 30th get ready for back fat Cue Debbie Downer noise Thanks Debbie The first shot of Mario exercising at the gym was reminiscent of his Greg Louganis TV-movie You knew that as soon as Sean told Christian he didnt want to perform the liposuction Christian wanted hed seek help elsewhere Then lo and beho

Threshold
Creator Brannon Braga reveals how the team would have fought to save the world — if his show had survived.
I admit that the way we ended Threshold was much too hasty. For a show that was about an alien race’s long-range plans to alter human DNA to make us more like them, we had to wrap up quickly. So in the last of the 12 episodes we shot — only eight of which aired in America — we had this dream sequence with Dr. Molly Caffrey (Carla Gugino). She was the one who had come up with the strategy to deal with an alien invasion of Earth. In the dream, the first alien-human child born comes to her and tells her, “Your plan will work and you will not live to see it.” With only one day to come up with something, that was our lame-ass conclusion.
Fans will get to see all 12 episodes in the DVD collection we’re releasing, but we had tons of other

Threshold
Question: Thanks to your suggestion, I gave Threshold a try and now I'm hooked! However, it didn't air this past Friday, and I had to go to the show's website to find out that it has been moved from Fridays to Tuesdays. Is that a bad sign? Also, has it been officially picked up for the whole season yet? After the cancellation of Arrested Development, I don't think I can take it if another of my favorite shows bites the dust. Thanks for doing your best to promote AD, Threshold and all the other great but ratings-challenged shows.
Answer: My pleasure — if that's the appropriate word. But let me use this as an opportunity to remind the show's fans (and those who may not have discovered it on Fridays) that for at least the next two weeks, Threshold will be airing on Tuesdays at 10 pm/ET. This could be the show's last chance to prove itself in hopes of getting a full-season pickup. CBS ordered a handful of new scripts, but until the numbers are in this week, no additional production order

I'm glad I don't live in Miami anymore. Arthur Ramsey may call it the land of "babes, beaches and babes," but after living there six years, I can tell you from experience that the burg attracts disaster like Job. I once had to cancel a date with a great girl because of a riot. My sister was caught in Hurricane Andrew. Crabs dig tunnels under patios. It's always humid. And finally, on this show an illegal indoor rave led to the spread of the alien signal. I'd chalk this up to the infectiousness of rock and roll, except for the fact that DJ Karen Reynolds was playing house music. It's just Miami's luck that Karen's mix included a third-hand copy of the alien nutsmaker that she got from her brother on the cargo ship. Instead of providing th
