Peter Cambor, David Bickford and Linda Hunt
Ever since Peter Cambor became a recurring cast member on NCIS: Los Angeles, the return visits of operational psychologist Nate Getz have been rather illuminating.
Winter TV: Get the scoop on your favorite returning shows
While last season revealed Nate to have become exceedingly more skilled in hand-to-hand combat than we ever imagined, this time around, the case is personal, dealing with matters of the mind — and, more importantly, the heart. When the team's investigation of a Marine's death leads them to the morgue, the agents begin to question whether the coroner, Nate's former flirty friend Rose (Kathleen Rose Perkins), is hiding information.
"Nate kind of has a thing for Rose and Rose kind of has a thing for Nate," Cambor, who now stars on TBS' Wedding Band, tells TVGuide.com....
Pioneers of Television
If I counted right, you can hear Betty White say "I'm the luckiest broad on two feet" at least three times during the course of the "Funny Ladies" retrospective that kicks off a new season of PBS' Pioneers of Television (check tvguide.com listings). Who could or would want to doubt her? The evidence is right there in clips and stills from this living legend's earliest TV appearances in the 1940s and '50s, establishing her as a versatile broadcaster and gung-ho performer even before Lucille Ball made us fall in love with her — and blazing a trail for all who would follow.
It's a good time to be Seth MacFarlane, with a hit movie (Ted) under his belt, a gig as Oscar host in his future, and a mini-empire on the Fox network, whose Sunday "Animation Domination" lineup is overrun with his shows, most notably and memorably Family Guy. Not many shows that got canceled early in its run (after several seasons of incredibly incompetent scheduling), only to be resurrected on the strength of DVD sales and a cult cable following, manage to live on to mark a 200th-episode milestone.
TBS, TNT Logos
TNT's programming slate includes a drama starring Eric McCormack, projects from John Wells and Mitch Albom and a TNT Tuesday Night Mystery, while TBS hopes to build on its "Very Funny" motto with The Wedding Band.

Are there any good story lines coming up for Cristina and Owen on Grey's Anatomy? — Heather
NATALIE: Meredith and Callie might be on the baby train, but Cristina is definitely not. Which is bad news for Owen, who's going to start to get the procreation itch himself, according to Kevin McKidd. "They rushed into their marriage at the start of the season, and the conversations they never quite had on fundamental things about life, not just children, are going to start to creep back in," he tells us. "There are going to be some bumps for them."

Indeed, Nate goes undercover at a prison with Sam...
