Pet Shop Boys

Pop duo Pet Shop Boys have left Parlophone, their record label of 28 years to release their new album 'Electric' through Kobalt Label Services (KLS) in June via an as-yet-unnamed label set up by the band. The move by the group who have sold 50 million records world-wide comes just a month after the announcement that Parlophone was being sold to Warner Music.

According the 'The Daily Mail', leaked documents say that the Olympics Closing ceremony is jam packed with the U-K's top performers. Jessie J, Take That, One Direction, Tinie Tepah, The Pet Shop Boys, The Who, Ed Sheeran, Kaiser Chiefs, Fatboy Slim and Annie Lennox are set to perform. It's also rumored that Russell Brand will sing. The Olympics organizing committee won't confirm or deny the line-up. The 2 hour extravaganza that will air on August 12th.

Many artists are confirmed to perform at the closing ceremony for the Olympics, while others are rumored. Here is a list of U.K. artists that you CAN expect to see at the Olympics closing ceremony- One Direction, indie rockers the Kaiser Chiefs, George Michael, The Who, Jessie J, The Pet Shop Boys, Muse, Emile Sande, and Ed Sheeran. Also rumored are the The Spice Girls and Take That.
