Perez Hilton has filed a lawsuit against the Black Eyed Peas' manager accused of assault.

Perez Hilton says he's "extremely bothered" that some people aren't sympathetic to his claims of being physically assaulted.

"I have been extremely bothered by the public reaction to my assault. Violence should never be condoned with such statements as, 'It's Karma' or 'I don't believe in violence, but...,'" Hilton said in a posting to his website. "[S]everal television and radio shows [have] echoed the sentiment, 'He had it coming.' Would they have said the same thing if I was a woman?"

The Black Eyed Peas' manager was charged with assault after Perez Hilton accused group leader will.i.am and his entourage of assaulting him.

Liborio Molina, 36, turned himself in Monday morning and was charged with one count of assault, Toronto police constable Tony Vella told TVGuide.com. Molina, who goes by the nickname Polo, is due in court Aug. 5.

Vella said the victim in the incident, who he said he could not identify, sustained minor injuries.

Miss California says she has no regrets about her statement against gay marriage when Miss USA judge and celebrity blogger Perez Hilton asked her about the hot topic. But she does admit it hurt her chances for the crown.

Carrie Prejean, who was runner-up to winner Miss North Carolina, Kristen Dalton, in Sunday's pageant, told Fox News her stomach sank when she first heard she had picked Hilton's question. "I had a gut feeling. I knew he was controversial, and so was the question. Out of all the topics I studied up on, I dreaded that one, I prayed I would not be asked about gay marriage.
