Before getting into the video for Britney Spears latest hit single "Gimme More", I;d like to talk about the song for a second. I love it. Really. In the most unironic of ways, I really enjoy "Gimme More." Sure, the vocals could have been produced by Conky 5000 (I;m on a serious Pee Wee kick), and it;s one of the more generic of dance songs, but who cares? The beat is good, the melody just repetitive enough to be listened to 100 times in a row, and dare I say it;s the Fall Jam of 07? Here;s the video in a nutshell: It stars two Britneys. One in a blonde upside-down turned mop, who is sitting at a bar in a strip club, and another brunette Britney in a vest and a bowler hat who enters the room as the stripper. Well, stripper might be an exaggeration... here, she lazily clings to the pole, caressing herself and every now and again, maybe throwing a squat into it. I;ve done sexier dances in a New York City subway car (and earned $11 no less!) She;s giving it maybe 3 percent more

If you were to put Bill Cosby, Steve Martin and Paul Reiser in a blender, it would be really cramped. The result, however, would be something that looked and sounded a lot like Kenn Kington. Great comedy without any side effects (no blushing, no cringing, no embarrassing situations), just a bunch of life in its funniest form.If you are looking for a different perspective on life or just need a good hour of laughter, this performance is for you.
