Jay Mohr, Paula Marshall (Cupid) and Jaime King (Sin City) will front an untitled CBS comedy pilot from Ed Yeager (Still Standing), says the Reporter. The concept has Mohr playing an easygoing dad struggling to get used to his status as a recent divorcé. Looks like Shark caught a live one! Sources confirm to me exclusively that the CBS legal drama has tapped Paula Marshall to temporarily replace the show's maternity-bound leading lady, Jeri Ryan. Marshall is expected to appear in at least three of this season's final four episodes. Im going to cut to the chase and say that this was one of my very least favorite episodes since the series began but that ending was one of the best ever Hows that for running the gamut Lets start with that ending Ding-dong the witch is dead Just when I thought I was happy to see Gina back because I thought she changed her wicked ways here she was being more sadly pathetic than ever So pathetic that I grimaced every time she was on screen after that scene when she paid the Gina-look-alike Ali Raymer to have sex with Christian while she watchedand then begged Christian to Kiss me Then when she morphed further into Alex Forrest and lied by manipulating Julia into thinking Christian could be HIV positive because she was having sex with him I cringed even more I wanted the bee-yotch to get punished for her craziness I was so glad to see Christian hand her the restraining order towards the very end How many of you were thinking or perhaps screaming No way He is

As a longtime Rosie fan I was looking forward to her return as lottery winner Dawn Budge as were a lot of you I was skeptical though How could they make it believable for any former McNamaraTroy patients from their Miami years to fly to LA besides having them there just to visit That question was answered quite well after we got to experience seeing Dawn hang gliding in Calgary and being attacked in the mouth by a flying eagle Truly one of the funniest NipTuck visuals ever so funny I had to rewind three times So of course Dawn had to fly or rather get on a plane to LA pronto Who else would she trust to fix her busted mouth besides her pals Christian and Sean How many of you immediately thought of Donald Trump or Elisabeth Hasselbeck after Christian told Dawn Were going to have to sew your mouth shut for two weeksI thought of them but also Barbara Walters when Christian said to Sean during the surgery For several days as Dawn Budge heals the wor

Just as I had heard this third episode had more drama and less comedy than the first two episodes As anyone who lives in Los Angeles can attest its not all sunshine and lollipops all the time here in La-La-Land So I was not surprised at the tone throughout most of this hour It didnt mean there werent any zingers every now and then thanks to two of my favorite NipTuck writers Lyn Greene and Richard Levine Richard also directed the episode Ill get to some of those great lines later but let me first get this out of the way That opening scene with Sean and Kate Paula Marshall in the hot tub was really crappy Sorry couldnt resist You learn a new thing every day Kate learned never to take laxatives before getting into a hot tub with her lover At first I thought it was blood didnt you Poor Kate You knew Christian was going to go to town on that with Sean even making loud farting noises But you also knew that it was never going to leave Seans mind S--

Once again seeing Christian and Sean in their new Hollywood surroundings hit home for me Our TV Guide corporate offices are directly across the street from Graumans Chinese Theatre so we see those celebrity look-alike characters every day As soon as I saw Fat Elvis appear in this episode I said out loud Yes Fat Elvis Coincidental side note I shared an elevator with Fat Elvis this morning I swear but the one used in the show was a different one played by actor James Price So having McNamaraTroy treat dueling Marilyn Monroes Genius I wouldve died if it were dueling Spider-mans because weve got them here on Hollywood Blvd one much more in shape than the other And yes Chewbacca is there too Susan Griffiths and Merilee Brasch were fabulous as Joyce and Sharon respectively But Id like to point out that they shouldve switched roles since I thought Susan as Joyce played the better Marilyn even though they mentioned several times that Sharon was better
