The iconic grey suit and red bowtie have returned: Pee-wee Herman is back and heading to HBO for a special filmed presentation of his Broadway show, The Pee-wee Herman Show on Broadway.
The 90-minute comedy show is not unlike an extended version of his Emmy-winning Pee-wee's Playhouse series, which ran for four years on CBS. Pee-wee ran in Los Angeles a year ago and is currently playing in New York's Stephen Sondheim Theatre, where it has been met with favorable reviews.

Pee-wee Herman is heading to HBO with a special that will present his Broadway show, the network announced Tuesday.
HBO will shoot the Paul Reubens production in January following its Broadway engagement that runs through Jan. 2. The special, titled The Pee-wee Herman Show on Broadway, will debut in 2011.

Tron: Uprising, which will air on kids digital cable channel Disney XD, will feature the voices of Elijah Wood, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Mandy Moore, Nate Corddry, Lance Henriksen, Paul Reubens, Reginald VelJohnson and Bruce Boxleitner, who reprises his role as Tron.
