After a long hiatus, Pee-wee Herman made a triumphant return to the spotlight with an outrageous stage show version of his classic TV show Pee-wee's Playhouse, conquering Broadway in the process. Now, Pee-wee is plotting a return to the big screen, produced by Judd Apatow, and his alter ego, Paul Reubens, gives ET the latest on the project. "It's an adventure story, a road picture, not unlike Big Adventure," says Paul. "I've been writing it for a long time with a gentleman named Paul Rust, who's done a lot of work with Judd, and we have a meeting next week on the movie, Judd and me."
