Office Malloy (Martin Milner) a part-time university student, finds himself in the middle of a campus riot, in "I'm Still a Cop, Carlton - Log 73," this weeks's episode of Adam 12. Malloy discovers his acceptance at the university by other students diminishes when they learn that he is a police officer. His troubles mount when he and his partner, Officer Reed (Kent McCord), are part of the police contingent called to help rescue the captive college president. Renegade cop and bounty hunter Reno Raines (LORENZO LAMAS) secretly meets late at night with Judge Sarah Jessup (CECELIA PECK) in the private office of an art museum where Sarah is a board member. For two years, Reno has avoided a wrongful arrest'warrant accusing him of murdering a fellow police officer. Reno asks Sarah, a former lover and devoted friend, to search prison and police records to help him find Hound Adams (GEOFFREY BLAKE). Hound is the fugitive who has a tape recording of a conversation that proves Reno's innocence.As Sarah and Reno leave the office, they surprise four burglars stealing valuable art. Carrick O'Quinn (DON MICHAEL PAUL), an anti-terrorist commando, and his squad capture the burglars. However, in the process, Reno is wounded by the burglars' gunfire and Sarah is taken hostage.
