Dunder-Mifflin fans, unite! The paper company is returning to regular work. It is I, Meredith, the drunken redhead in the corner. We have some catching up to do. Here's hoping you are not as drunk as I am. I am a pro. As Tom Cruise once said to Jack Nicholson, "You can't handle the booze!" St. Patrick's Day is fast approaching and I have a lot to drink to.St. Pat's day has always been a big holiday for me and my family because my family owns a bar. If you are in Philadelphia, our bar is T.A. Flannery's on 21st Street. Have a drink and don't worry! You can have a drink and catch up!The Office has a lot of catching up to do also. We are back at work after that nasty fake vacation that some people called a strike. Everyone is so grateful to be back. We were out late the other night shooting at "Michael's condo" for the "Dinner Party" episode. The episode is hilarious! NBC staff photographer Chris Haston (who just so happens to be my boyfriend) was working that night taking pictures, no...

Following a fierce bidding war, Starting Under a comedy from Drew Carey Show creator Bruce Helford and starring Bernie Mac as an opinionated divorcé who lives with (and works for!) his introverted twentysomething son became the last major pilot to get rubber-stamped, by Fox, before the strike struck, Variety reports. But... what about "Ocean's Eighteen"?! A&E has shot a pilot for Celebrity called Garage Sale (yes, it's come to this), in which indie actress Illeana Douglas helps her celeb pals unload unwanted junk. Freaks and Geeks cocreator Paul Feig will direct the pilot for NBC's Kath & Kim, starring Molly Shannon.

Season's greetings from Kate Flannery! The Office presents its new, one-hour Christmas episode this week!Christmas is coming, Christmas is coming! The Office Christmas episode is twice as nice! No, I am not referring to my boobs. (It was last season's "Christmas Party" episode when the drunken Meredith went topless in Michael's office.) No, no, it's twice as nice because it's a full hourlong episode. I can't count how many fans have written me on MySpace or commented here at TVGuide.com and said the words, "I wish The Office was an hour." Well? Let me quote Dwight K. Schrute by saying, "It's a Christmas miracle!" This is the deal: It was a fake goose. No goose was hit by Dwight K. Schrute. No birds were killed. Get this: The Office starts at 8 pm/ET instead of 8:30 this week! Set your TiVo or DVR or DVD-burner or VCR or your Greg Brady-style tape recorder (a method I used as a child in the '70s when there was no alternative, except maybe writing it all down as fast as humanly possib...

Happy belated Halloween. I understand that instead of Halloween office parties, this year there were Office Halloween parties. Get the difference? The word got out that this year there were a lot of Office-inspired Halloween costumes. It's true. Office-inspired Halloween costumes! We have officially arrived. How bizarre. How cool, but how bizarre. Let's hope those women, and in some cases men, who dressed like Meredith look good in a one-size-fits-all denim skirt. There are some fun Office Halloween-party photos up on OfficeTally.com, and I got sent a few photos on MySpace.com/kateflan. Imitation is the highest form of Flannery.... I mean flattery. Thank you. Thanks to all for playing my Office Trivial trivia last week. That was fun. Some of you readers actually admitted that you were stumped! Pretty cool. I generally think of the Office fans as remembering more than I do. (And I'm in the episode!) No, I am not sucking up to the Office fans. I actually find them a little intimidati...

Question: What was the name of the sports-based sitcom that starred Farrah Fawcett? It probably aired in the late '80s or early '90s. Thanks for your help.Answer: No problem, Greg. The show was called Good Sports. It launched on CBS in January 1991 and featured Fawcett as a supermodel-turned-sportscaster on a ESPN-like cable network. Fawcett's character, Gayle Roberts, was paired with Bobby Tannen, a dim but charming ex-football star played by Ryan O'Neal.
The setup was that Gayle and Bobby had enjoyed a weekend fling in college, but he didn't recall it at all, which, of course, infuriated her. But that little complication didn't stop her from falling for him a second time, and the romantic tension, coupled with guest spots from real-life sports stars and a supporting cast that included such notables as
