CSI: NY's Gary Sinise: Mac Has Found Something Very Positive In His Life

For Gary Sinise, Friday's CSI: NY finale may feel a bit like art imitating life.

In April, Sinise was involved in a car accident in Washington, D.C. Although Sinise was just a passenger, he sustained several injuries when his car was hit from behind."I had a pretty severe concussion — [some] badly torn up muscles in my neck," Sinise tells TVGuide.com. "I don't remember the accident. I woke up in the ER. Although I'm told I was speaking, I didn't know where I was. We apparently drove for 10 minutes, but all I remember is getting into the car and pulling away from the curb."

Sinise, who is still working with doctors and physical therapists, says the outpouring of support after his accident was overwhelming. "I got some of the most beautiful emails and phone calls," he says. "When a friend goes through something like that, it makes you think. It made me think about our season finale and what it's about...read more

What else can you tell me about Patrick Jane's new love interest on The Mentalist? — Christine
ADAM:
Creator Bruno Heller wants to be clear about one thing: Loralei (Emmanuelle Chriqui) is no ordinary cocktail waitress, and as such viewers should take this relationship seriously. "It's certainly not a fling and it's not a spur-of-the-moment booty call or anything like that," Heller says. "She comes into Jane's life at a very, very low ebb. He's at a moment when he really needs a helping hand and a little ray of light, and she provides that."

Please tell me you have info on Dexter! — James

Could Dexter be getting...read more

What Went Wrong with The CW's Ringer?

On Tuesday, Ringer's freshman season comes to a close — and it's anyone's guess as to whether or not it will be renewed for a second season.

Why? Ratings haven't been great. Ringer hit a series low two weeks ago with only 1.05 million tuning in. On the surface, it's hard to explain why: Not only was Sarah Michelle Gellar, best known for her Buffy the Vampire Slayer days, returning to TV, but viewers were getting a double dose of her as estranged twins, one of whom faked her own death. There was also whole lot of eye candy (see: Ioan Gruffudd, Kristopher Polaha and Lost alum Nestor Carbonell), and a murder mystery with as many twists and turns as there are Buffy die-hards.

32 bubble shows — which will survive?

So why didn't Ringer become the new guilty pleasure hit? TVGuide.com turned to series executive producer Pam Veasey (CSI: NY) to get her take on why the neo-noir thriller never clicked with a big audience. Plus: Veasey discusses how Season 2 would be different should the series get renewed, and how Siobhan and Bridget have become the "will-they-or-won't-they" duo of the show. (Oh, get your mind out of the gutter!) read more

CSI: NY Boss Finds Inspiration in the Past, Hopes for the Show's Future

Keck's Exclusives: Ringer Gets Romantic

Ever since her wooden-stake-wielding Buffy days, Sarah Michelle Gellar has been the embodiment of the Madonna/whore fantasy. She'll be displaying this enticing duality again in two not-to-be-missed episodes of The CW's Ringer, wearing white... and nearly nothing at all... read more

Ringer Scoop: Bridget's Secret Is Out — But Can She Contain It?

Ringer viewers didn't have to wait long for Bridget's secret to come tumbling out.

After Gemma (Tara Summers) discovered that Henry (Kristopher Polaha) had actually been having an affair with Siobhan (Sarah Michelle Gellar), Bridget did the only thing she could think of to keep herself safe: read more
