Courtney Love, recalling her own past association with the Brit bad boy, tells the mag, "I was just out of rehab and he was right there with the drugs." When Coogan cozied up to Wilson (both costarred in Night at the Museum), "I tried to warn Owen," says Love. "I hope... that Owen stays the hell away from that guy." In response, Coogan tells TV's Extra, "These accusations are unfounded, unhelpful and hurtful to all concerned. Owen Wilson's emergency hospitalization has raised questions about his upcoming releases and unfilmed projects. For starters, Wes Anderson's The Darjeeling Limited is set to open Sept. 28, and now must proceed with PR sans one of its leads. DreamWorks, meanwhile, tells Variety that filming on Tropic Thunder, due for a summer 2008 release, "continues," but would not say whether Wilson's role will be recast. Next up for Wilson was Marley & Me, also starring Jennifer Aniston and starting production in January. Film funnyman Owen Wilson (You, Me & Dupree; Wedding Crashers) was retrieved from his Santa Monica home late Sunday and transported to a local hospital for treatment. On Monday afternoon, a spokesperson for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles confirmed that Wilson had been admitted and was is in "good condition."In keeping with earlier (though unconfirmed reporting) TV's Extra has learned from a source that Wilson — following a few months of depression, though not due to a broken relationship — attempted suicide over the weekend. The source also told Extra that Wilson’s brother, Luke, found him at his apartment, and that family and friends are shocked.In a statement released through his publicist, Wilson says, "I respectfully ask that the media allow me to receive care and heal in private during this difficult time."
