Owen Wilson and a blonde lab helped Jennifer Aniston beat ex-husband Brad Pitt in holiday weekend box office – and beat everyone else as well.
Marley & Me, in which Aniston and Wilson play as a couple dealing with a very badly behaving dog, earned $37 million for the top grosses from Friday to Sunday, Exhibitor Relations said Sunday.

Wilson will join Jennifer Aniston on the set of Marley and Me, a rom-com about a couple who adopt a dog as a test run for parenthood, only to be surprised by how much of a handful one pesky pup can be.After being hospitalized this past summer, Wilson dropped out of production for Tropic Thunder.
