Now that he and actress Nikki Reed are an official couple, McDonald tells TVGuide.com, "I'm going to have be a Twilight fan!"
He better start watching now since the singer admits he's never seen any of the saga. But McDonald is used to going outside of his comfort zone. After all, he says, Idol was completely "different from my normal scene."

A peripheral character — here for a multiepisode arc — died. Tragically. Was MErissa into Johnny Wohnny? It seemed like it. And yes, she's entitled to her grief, but I'm tired of MErissa treating Ryan like yesterday's news. So color me happy to see that our Ry guy had some sparks with Johnny's cousin, Sadie.
