Previously on Oxygen's The Face, some of our aspiring models got down in Coco's choreography test shoot... while others refused to give up. In the campaign Team Coco and Team Karolina tried to spring ahead but fell short, Team Naomi won for the 3rd time in a row yet quickly proved that winning is only half the battle. Back in the elimination room Naomi sent home Karolina's girl Madeleine and saved Coco's girl Stephanie.

The fearless search for The Face is on and I'll be a busy bee all season long on my blog! My supermodels have picked their teams and as you could see from Tuesday night's episode, they're taking no prisoners in this season's fight for fashion fame!
Our first "test shoot" was coached by none other than Naomi Campbell and the goal was to see "Who Wore It Better?" Oh, side note: I could have just killed my stylist as she had me all casual in a Kenzo sweater, Levi's jacket and Carhartt pants, feeling fresh and ready to get this first challenge on when total WTF moment- out walks Miss Naomi in an Azzedine Alaïa catsuit with full length gloves! Talk about feeling under dressed!
Most of television does its civic duty and turns to Washington, D.C. for State of the Union coverage (9/8c), as President Obama presents his first address of his second term. (As a curtain raiser, PBS' Frontline — check tvguide.com listings — relives those fun times when the White House sparred with the opposition over the deficit, taking the nation to the brink of the "fiscal cliff" in an installment appropriately titled "Cliffhanger.")

20 questions with Tyra Banks: Harvard, Top Model and the "character" she plays
America's Next Top Model
Though the lineup leaked months ago, on Thursday the CW confirmed the cast of the upcoming "all-star" cycle of America's Next Top Model (premiering Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 9/8c). Eight out of the 14 aspiring whatevers are 25 years old or older, which is hilarious since even at a decade younger they'd still be kind of old to be getting into modeling. But America's Next Top Model is not the real world or even the fashion world (which is also not the real world), and creator/host Tyra Banks recently told Good Morning America that this cycle will be about more than just modeling anyway. "I have the girls singing songs, doing music videos, creating perfumes. You can't just be a model anymore ... Now it's about celebrity-celebrity, so that's what I'm doing with my all-stars," she said.

Photographer and filmmaker Nigel Barker — best known for sitting on Tyra Banks' judging panel on America's Next Top Model — also donates his time to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Most recently, Barker directed Generation Free, a 45-minute documentary that chronicles the Foundation's efforts to create a generation of children free of the HIV virus in Tanzania. In commemoration of World AIDS Day, Generation Free will air on the TV Guide Network on Tuesday, Dec. 1 at 7/6c (the film repeats at 10/9c, or you can watch it in its entirety here).
TVGuide.com spoke to Barker about why his film focuses on Tanzania, what is being done to prevent mother-to-child transmission of the virus and how working in Africa has inspired his activism.
