The Bachelorette Episode Recap: Week 4

On this week's episode of The Bachelorette, Bentley is gone, at least for now, and it's time for Ashley and the men to travel abroad. Yep, it's only Week 4, but they're already going to Thailand. Constantine gets the first date and although the rain keeps them from going out to sea, it doesn't prevent them from enjoying each other's company. The two walk around Phuket where they meet a man on the street. He gives them the advice that love is not about winning -- very appropriate for a show with 25 men competing for one woman. The night portion of the date is pretty standard and they have dinner and make basic conversation. I don't see too much chemistry between the two, but "hopeless Ashley is now hopeful again," she says.

Bruce Is a True Survivor!

Bruce Kanegai, Survivor: Panama

On last week's episode of CBS' Survivor: Panama—Exile Island (Thursdays at 8 pm/ET), Bruce Kanegai had to be taken off the island for emergency care. Though he survived a machete wound to the face earlier in the season, he was done in by severe constipation that was nearly life-threatening. The jury is still out on whether he'll return to Survivor's jury — the self-dubbed "Mr. Miyagi" is keeping mum, though we may find out on tonight's episode — but the sweet 58-year-old was happy to discuss just about everything else that happened during his stay. TVGuide.com: I'm glad to hear that you are now OK. Bruce Kanegai: When I saw [last week's episode], I relived that whole thing again. It actually all started about 12 days before, and a lot of people didn't realize I was hurting. I played hard in all the reward c read more

"Survivor Sal" Needs a New Nickname

Sally Schumann, Survivor: Panama — Exile Island

Sally Schumann tried out for four prior editions of Survivor before earning a spot on CBS' Survivor: Panama — Exile Island (Thursdays at 8pm/ET). Sure enough, her study of the series worked to her advantage. Having outlasted all of the La Mina women and leaving Terry to fend for himself against the six remaining Casayas, Schumann now serves as the second member of the jury that will crown the ultimate champ. TVGuide.com sat down with "Survivor Sal" the day after her elimination to get her take on her 24-day stay. TVGuide.com: What's the reaction been like from your family since your elimination aired?Sally Schumann: Everyone has called or texted to say I did an awesome job and they're all proud of me. I went out of it OK with how I played it. It was really great to watch the show, because I came home with my int read more

Astronaut Blasted Off Survivor

Dan Barry, Survivor: Panama

Retired rocket man Dan Barry spends his days building robots but found himself struggling to put together a much simpler puzzle on last week's Survivor: Panama—Exile Island. As a result, the 52-year-old father of two found himself packing his bags after copping to his poor performance on the immunity challenge, thus diluting La Mina down to three members going into the tribal merge. TVGuide.com spoke with the space man about how his NASA excursions affected his island outlook, who he's rooting for to win Survivor and more. TVGuide.com: How has the reaction been since your elimination aired?Dan Barry: It's been pretty positive. It's a disappointment to go home, but I feel like the things I did in the game were well represented. I'm read more

Survivor's Ruth Marie Speaks Up!

Ruth Marie Milliman, Survivor: Panama

Handpicked by Terry and Co. to round out the male-dominated La Mina alliance, Ruth Marie Milliman remained nothing but loyal to her tribe mates, but once Sally's athleticism was deemed a more valuable asset, her fate was sealed. Milliman may have been quiet during her stint on CBS' Survivor: Panama — Exile Island (Thursdays at 8 pm/ET), but the South Carolina native and mother of two made up for it when TVGuide.com tracked her down the day after she said goodbye to her tribe.

TVGuide.com: As hard as it was, you must have sensed your exit was coming — especially once La Mina discussed putting you on the chopping block the week before last.
Ruth Marie Milliman:
I had an alliance with the guys, so I wasn't in jeopardy then. The ultimate decision came down to Sally and Misty. Sally was going to go, but at the last minute it read more
