The world already knew Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon had renewed their vows on their anniversary, as they have every year since marrying in 2008. This was, of course, despite her giving birth to twins Moroccan and Monroe just hours before. Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have named their twins Monroe Cannon and Moroccan Scott Cannon, they announced on Carey's website.
Daughter Monroe is named after Marilyn Monroe, who Carey calls an inspiration. Son Moroccan's name comes from the top tier of Carey's New York City apartment, which features Moroccan-inspired decor. It's also the spot where Cannon proposed.

Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon welcomed their twins into the world Saturday at 9:07 a.m. at an undisclosed Los Angeles hospital, according to the Associated Press. As expected, one was a boy (weighing 5 lbs., 6 oz. and measuring 19 inches) and the other was a girl (weighing 5 lbs., 3 oz., and measuring 18 inches). Carey, who's pregnant with twins, was hospitalized late Saturday after having contractions, but she was released the next day.
