Bradley Whitford and Neve Campbell (Party of Five) are set to front Burn Up, a four-hour global-warming thriller being shopped around to the networks, says Variety.... Showtime has given a pilot order to Possible Side Effects, a drama about a family that runs a pharmaceutical company, says the Reporter. Tim Robbins wrote and directed the pilot and will exec-produce the series, but will not star in it.... Versus will premiere Sports Unfiltered with Dennis Miller on Nov. 6, to air Tuesdays at 10 pm/ET.... Lewis Black has been tapped to moderate The Root of All Evil, a Comedy Central series that will "put pop culture on trial" (whatever that means). read more

May 16, 2007: “Everything Will Come to a Head”

Season finales make me wistful The third part of a trilogy bringing Neve Campbell and Jason Priestley to the Dubois roost wrapped the season up nicely I love when everything comes together and there are no loose ends This show while not quite as fantastic as last weeks still held its own especially when you consider Allisons special talents and the risks she had to take to solve the murder of her friendenemy PD MacColl Everyone got a spot in this show Manny Scanlon and Lynn Scanlon finally got some good scenes as well and he and Lynn are back together Those two are very on again off again Perhaps next season they might even have a subplot of their ownJoe had another decent story line losing his job because of Allisons newly exposed abilities yet still loving his wife at the end of the day What a guy Clone him please Manuel lost his job as well but since Allison had his back Im sure it was only temporary Best Line PDDebra read more

Love Notes: Wedding Party for Neve Campbell

Party of Fiver Neve Campbell married British actor John Light on Saturday in Malibu. Also per People, Nick Cannon and Victoria's Secret model Selita Ebanks are altar-bound — again, but apparently this time for real.... Laura Prepon (October Road) and Chris Masterson (Malcolm in the Middle) — who have been dating since 2000 and cohabitating since '01 — have called it quits, says the New York Daily News. Chris, what did you do, man? Laura rocks! read more

I'm Back… with 90210/Party of Five Scoop!

My sixth sense for scoop is telling me that Medium is lining up some big guest stars this May (well, big for those of us who lived for Wednesday nights on Fox in the mid-'90s). Sources with strong ties to the "other side" confirm that former 90210 pinup Jason Priestley has booked a three-episode arc as a gambling addict named Walter Paxton. He starts work this week, and his first episode airs in May. Additionally, ex-Party of Fiver Neve Campbell will appear in a May sweeps episode, although details about her role are coming through a little fuzzy. Ironically, since Medium airs opposite Lost, Campbell will essentially be competing against her former TV bro, Matthew Fox. Hey, I just thought of something: How totally awesome would it be if Owen turned up on CSI: NY? That'd be like hitting the Salinger trifecta! In totally unrelated news, miss me? read more

Anna Faris Loves a Scary Good Time

Anna Faris, Scary Movie 4

Believe it or not, Anna Faris likes it when her lovable but clueless Cindy Campbell, who returns in Scary Movie 4 (now in theaters), takes a hit or two as she saves the world. "I'm always pretty game for that," says the actress. "Cindy's so sweet and innocent, which gets a little annoying, [so] it's fun to take me down every now and then." Faris gets her wish in one scene in the latest sequel, when an airplane cart slams into Cindy's face. "It looks like it could have been [my] stunt double, which was frustrating because it was me," she reveals. On the flip side, Faris thinks moviegoers will see that it's definitely her "twin" taking hits from a Mike Tyson look-alike in the spoof of a boxing film. "[We] had this 10-minute, very choreographed sequ read more

Neve Campbell Kisses and Tells

Neve Campbell takes risks as an actress, but she doesn't consider same-sex smooches one of 'em anymore. As the femme fatale star of When Will I Be Loved (opening Friday in limited release), she shares a kiss (and much more) with a blond gal pal played by Joelle Carter (TV's Wonderland). "This is like the sixth time I've had a kissing scene with a woman on film," she laughingly tells TV Guide Online, reminding us of her lip-lock with Olivia D'Abo on Party of Five and her poolside buss with Denise Richards in Wild Things, among others. "I don't know if there are many Hollywood actresses who haven't kissed a woman on camera." True enough. Still, Campbell leaves few taboos (or costars!) untasted in Loved, which offers a different twist on the Indecent Proposal theme. Here's the familiar sitch: Neve's sleazy boyfriend is offered a small fortune by a wealthy businessman (Sopranos star read more
