There's only one element capable of destroying Superman according to the plot of the exciting half hour drama, "The Defeat of Superman." Happy King, a vengeful crook once chased from the U.S. by Superman, has the secret for preparing this fatal substance, kryptonite. Happy, played by Nestor Paiva, lures Superman, played by George Reeves, into a trap. It takes quick help from Lois Lane, enacted by Neel Neill, and Jimmy, portrayed by Jack Larson, to extricate the intrepid "Man of Steel."
