For the first time ever, the award for Outstanding Choreography will be presented at the Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony Sunday night (8 pm ET / 5 pm PT, CBS), accompanied by a big dance number created by the nominated choreographers. Neil Patrick Harris
It's going to be legendary. Triple threat Neil Patrick Harris will step into the emcee spotlight at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles for the second time to host the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards, Sept. 22 on CBS.
The How I Met Your Mother star's comic timing, Broadway song-and-dance dazzle and Old Hollywood panache (just watch him work a tux) have made Harris a go-to host for marquee awards ceremonies. His four times as the show-stopping emcee of the Tony Awards have won him two Emmys, and he's nominated for that gig again this year...

How I Met Your Mother
It was a panel of beginnings and endings as the team behind How I Met Your Mother hosted their first panel to preview the CBS comedy's upcoming final season.
"It feels really sad to say goodbye. We love the fans so much," co-creator and executive producer Craig Thomas said Saturday during the show's packed Comic-Con session. "This is for you guys. This is our thank you to you guys and our appreciation to you." Added co-creator and executive producer Carter Bays: "Season 9 is going to be beautiful and funny and dramatic and awesome, and I think it's going to be the appropriate end to the story."

The U.S. Supreme Court issued two landmark rulings related to the issue of same-sex marriage Wednesday. First, the court ruled that the federal Defense of Marriage Act, which defines marriage as between a man and a woman, is unconstitutional — paving the way for legally married same-sex couples to receive the same federal benefits as straight married couples. Second, the Court dismissed an appeal against California's Proposition 8, which banned same-sex marriage in the state — meaning that same-sex marriage can resume in California.
Celebrities took to Twitter to voice their opinions on the rulings. Here are some of their reactions:
