CSI: NY: How Far Will Mac Go to Save Christine?

Friday's episode of CSI: NY may feature a side of Mac Taylor viewers don't see very often.

Russell (CSI star Ted Danson) returning to New York to track down the people who have kidnapped Mac's girlfriend Christine (Megan Dodds). And given Mac's personal investment in this case, his desire for justice burns even hotter than usual.

Question: I've been a fan of Homeland since before the pilot even came out. I don't live a day without at least thinking about Homeland once. Even last week's episode, which was heavily criticized, coerced me to suspend my disbelief on some dangling plot devices due primarily to the deliciously long-awaited meeting of Carrie and her mortal enemy Abu Nazir. And yet, while this season has largely been about Brody's allegiances and double missions, the series for me has always been about Carrie Mathison and Claire Danes. Her character was developed in Season 1... read more

Homeland: So, What Happens Now?

[WARNING: The following story contains spoilers from Sunday's episode of Homeland. Read at your own risk.]

No one can argue that Homeland is dragging things out this season.

First, Brody's suicide tape ended up in the hands of Saul (Mandy Patinkin) in Beirut. Then, rather than waste a couple episodes deciding what to do with the tape, Saul showed it to Carrie (Claire Danes) as soon as he could. Carrie then took the baton and, instead of flirt-interrogating Brody (Damian Lewis) for several days/weeks, she promptly blew the mission and had him arrested. So why stop now?

Lebanon Angry Over Homeland's Unflattering Portrayal of Beirut

Lebanon is considering taking legal action against Showtime's Homeland for its unflattering portrayal of Lebanese capital Beirut in the Emmy Award-winning series' second season.

In the first two episodes of Season 2, Homeland featured Beirut as a breeding ground for terrorists where the series' main antagonist, a high-ranking Al-Qaeda member named Abu Nazir (Navid Negahban), was holding court. Although... read more

On the Set: Homeland's Explosive New Season

Carrie Mathison is finally in the driver's seat. In a scene for an upcoming episode of Showtime's Emmy-winning hit Homeland, the bipolar former C.I.A. agent — played by the mesmerizing Claire Danes — is gripping the wheel with such ferocious intensity, you'd think she's doing 120 even though the car is parked. In the passenger seat is... read more

Homeland Boss: Latest Twist "Turns the Whole Series on Its Head"

[WARNING: The following story contains spoilers from Sunday's episode. Read at your own risk.]

Well we certainly weren't expecting that.

Homeland continued its second season with an episode that focused mostly on the attempted killing of terrorist Abu Nazir (Navid Negahban) as both disgraced CIA agent Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) and Marine-turned-U.S. Congressman — and Nazir disciple — Nicholas Brody (Damian Lewis) watched and listened from their respective corners of the world. For Carrie, the operation was a test to see if Carrie and her informant was still viable. For Brody, who watched the scene play out alongside Vice President Walden (Jamey Sheridan), it was an exercise in loyalty, as Brody quickly and secretly text-messaged Nazir a coded warning just before the bullets began to fly.

Homeland Season 2: Will Carrie fly too close to the sun?

But it turned out the ultimately unsuccessful assassination plot was just setting the stage for the episode's biggest moment... read more
