Under the Dome's Neal Baer: A Storm of Unseen Power Will Descend on Chester's Mill

Under the Dome

Under the Dome's fourth hand has been revealed!

After it was pieced together that Junior (Alexander Koch) also had seizures growing up — coupled with the fact that his mother drew him as a child with pink stars — he joined Norrie (Mackenzie Lintz), Joe (Colin Ford) and Angie (Britt Robertson) at the mini-dome to discover that he is, in fact, the fourth hand that unlocks it. Under the Dome: Who Will Be Crowned the Monarch?

Britt Robertson

And the children shall inherit the Earth? That's apparently the theme of CBS' Under the Dome.

On the previous episode, "The Fourth Hand," Joe (Colin Ford), Norrie (Mackenzie Lintz) and Angie (Britt Robertson) discovered that the mini-dome could be unlocked if they each putting their hand to it. But  they're missing one key: the titular "fourth hand." And for now it seems one of the eventual quartet is the Monarch the dome said would be crowned.

So, who is the Monarch? The obvious choice would be Angie, who became the latest  person to suffer from seizures. Joe seemed to quash that theory, pointing out to Norrie that Angie's butterfly tattoo is not a Monarch. But Angie could actually still be a candidate. "Of... read more

There's more than one dome!

The giant dome that descended upon Chester's Mill has a smaller dome at its center, which Joe (Colin Ford) and Norrie (Mackenzie Lintz) discovered on Monday's  Under the Dome. The mini-dome contained a small egg. What the what?!

Elsewhere in town, Alice (Samantha Mathis) lost her life from insulin deficiency after helping Julia's

(Rachelle Lefevre) neighbor give birth. Townsfolk also suffered from random visions from the dome and Big Jim (Dean Norris) went commando on someone who tried to take his stuff. Yikes! With so many new questions raised, TVGuide.com turned to executive producer Neal Baer to get the scoop:

The residents of Chester's Mill have finally learned the obvious: They're under a dome.

Monday's episode of Under the Dome saw the town finally connect the dots, as Julia (Rachelle Lefevre) commandeered the radio station to announce what government officials had already figured out. Now comes the hard part, as the town begins to feel the suffocating realization that there's a good chance they could all die inside the dome — whether that means from the elements, like this week's house fire, or from each other remains to be seen. CBS' new summer series Under the Dome kicked off Monday night with quite the bang after a dome mysteriously trapped the residents of quaint Chester's Mill within the town lines, cutting them off from the rest of the world. (And cutting a cow in half in the process. Gross.)
